As the leaves begin to change and the air carries that unmistakable feeling of fall, October invites us to slow down, turn inward, and embrace the beauty of change.
There is something magical about this season. Nature reminds us that letting go is not an ending - it is part of the cycle of growth. Trees release what they no longer need, making space for new life to come. We, too, can use this time to gently release old patterns, expectations, and anything that no longer supports the person we are becoming.
October is a beautiful month to reconnect with yourself. Take a little extra time to rest, nourish your body, quiet your mind, and listen to what your soul has been trying to tell you. Wellness isn't about doing everything perfectly; it's about creating small moments of balance, intention, and connection each day.
As we move deeper into the season, may you give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and honor where you are right now. You are allowed to change. You are allowed to grow. And you are allowed to make space for something new.
🍂 October Journal Prompt 🍂
What am I ready to release so I can make room for what is trying to grow within me?
Take a few quiet moments to reflect on the habits, thoughts, expectations, relationships, or fears that may no longer serve the person you are becoming.
Then ask yourself:
✨ What am I holding onto that feels heavy?
✨ What lesson can I carry forward without carrying the weight?
✨ What would I love to invite more of into my life this season?
✨ How can I honor where I am now, while still making space for where I'm going?
Remember: Just like the trees, you don't have to hold onto everything to continue growing. Sometimes, letting go is exactly what allows you to bloom. 🍁

Within Feminine Care & Embodiment
Introducing Within Feminine Care & Embodiment
I’m so excited to begin sharing a new body of work within the wellness center through Within Feminine Care & Embodiment.
This work has grown from years of tending to women through yoga, birth and postpartum support, energy work, ceremony, and most recently, a deeper immersion into heart and womb-centered practices.
At the center of WITHIN are Heart & Womb Ceremonial Sessions, spacious, intentional one-on-one experiences created for women to slow down, soften, reconnect with their bodies, and receive. Sessions may weave together heart and womb connection, gentle supportive care for the feminine body, self-guided practices, breath, movement, meditation, ritual, energy work, and space for whatever is asking to be felt or witnessed.
This work is less about “fixing” the body and more about creating the space to know it, listen to it, and build a deeper relationship with yourself.
Alongside individual ceremonial sessions, Within will continue to grow into offerings for women through feminine movement and embodiment, womb-centered practices, birth and postpartum support, guided self-touch practices, ritual, meditation, and women’s gatherings.
The Temple
A woman’s gathering rooted in nourishment and tending to your feminine body.
The Temple is an intimate space for women to gather in sisterhood, step away from the roles we hold in our everyday lives, and return to ourselves. Together we’ll explore practices of feminine nourishment, movement, heart and womb connection, self-guided womb care, ritual, rest, and intentional connection with one another.
This is the beginning of something I have been dreaming into for a long time, and I’m deeply grateful to begin offering it within our community.
Heart & Womb Ceremonial Sessions are now available. Call the center to get on the waitlist or learn more about these sessions. The Temple will begin gathering in October.

She believes that integrating these approaches can create meaningful opportunities for connection, self-discovery, and transformation.

The Connection between Seasonal Changes, Stress & Your Skin -
As the seasons change, taking care of your skin can be about more than just skincare.
As we transition into fall, we often find ourselves adjusting to cooler temperatures, shorter days, busier schedules, and changes in our daily routines. While these seasonal shifts can affect how we feel, they can also influence how our skin looks and behaves.
Our skin is closely connected to our overall well-being. Everything from the environment around us to our stress levels, sleep habits, and daily routines can play a role in skin health.
How seasonal changes affect your skin
As temperatures drop and humidity decreases, the skin can lose moisture more easily. Add indoor heating and hot showers to the mix, and you may notice increased dryness, tightness, flaking, or sensitivity.
For some people, seasonal changes can also make existing skin concerns, such as redness, irritation, or breakouts, more noticeable.
This is a good time to check in with your skin and make small adjustments. A gentle cleanser and a nourishing moisturizer can go a long way in helping maintain a healthy skin barrier throughout the colder months.
The connection between stress and skin
Stress is another factor that can influence skin health. When we’re stressed, our bodies release hormones, including cortisol, that can affect inflammation and the skin’s natural balance.
For some, periods of stress may contribute to increased breakouts, sensitivity, redness, or flare-ups of existing skin conditions. Stress can also affect our sleep and everyday habits, which may further influence the appearance and comfort of our skin.
While we can’t eliminate every source of stress in our lives, finding small ways to manage it can benefit both our overall well-being and our skin.
Small habits that support both skin and well-being
Healthy skin care doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the most beneficial changes are the simplest ones.
- Prioritize sleep. Consistent, restorative sleep supports the body’s natural repair processes and contributes to overall skin health.
- Stay hydrated. Drinking enough water supports your body’s normal functions, while using appropriate moisturizers helps keep your skin hydrated.
- Create a calming routine. A few quiet minutes in the morning or evening to cleanse, moisturize, and care for your skin can become a small but meaningful moment of self-care.
- Make time to unwind. Whether it’s a walk outside, reading a book, enjoying a warm cup of tea, or simply taking a few deep breaths, small moments of relaxation can help manage everyday stress.
- Listen to your skin. If your skin feels tight, irritated, or unusually sensitive, it may be asking for a gentler approach. Focus on supporting your skin barrier rather than introducing more products or treatments.
Skincare as a form of self-care
Skincare is often approached as a way to correct, improve, or change something about our appearance. But it can also be an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and build healthy habits that extend beyond the bathroom mirror.
A customized facial offers more than product application. It provides time to relax, enjoy intentional care, and address your skin’s changing needs. Sometimes, taking an hour for yourself is just as meaningful as the products and treatments themselves.
As we settle into fall, remember that healthy skin is influenced by more than what we put on it. Our environment, daily habits, stress, and overall well-being are all part of the picture.
This season, give yourself permission to slow down, simplify where you can, and take care of yourself from the inside out.
Here’s to a healthier season, inside and out.
