NOVEMBER 2026 - A Season of Gratitude!

A Season of Gratitude

November 2026 Newsletter

As November arrives, we are reminded to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate the blessings woven into our everyday lives. Gratitude invites us to look beyond the busyness of life and notice the beauty in the little things—a warm cup of coffee, laughter with loved ones, a kind word, or simply the gift of another day.

Gratitude doesn't mean life is always easy or that we won't face challenges. It means choosing to recognize the light even during difficult seasons and appreciating how far we've come. When we shift our focus from what we lack to what we already have, we discover that abundance isn't always about having more; sometimes, it's about recognizing what we already have.

This month, make gratitude a daily practice. Celebrate the little victories, appreciate the people who support you, give yourself grace, and remember that even the smallest moments can hold the greatest blessings. May this November bring you a grateful heart, a peaceful mind, and a renewed appreciation for the beautiful life unfolding around you.

📗November Journal Prompt: Embracing Gratitude

Take a quiet moment to reflect on the blessings in your life, both big and small.
What are three things you are deeply grateful for today, and why? How have the people, experiences, and even the challenges in your life helped shape the person you are becoming? What is one simple way you can bring more gratitude into your daily life this month?

✨ Affirmation: I choose to see the beauty in my everyday life. My heart is open to gratitude, and I welcome the abundance that surrounds me.❤️

Within Feminine Care & Embodiment

Introducing Within Feminine Care & Embodiment

I’m so excited to begin sharing a new body of work within the wellness center through Within Feminine Care & Embodiment.

This work has grown from years of tending to women through yoga, birth and postpartum support, energy work, ceremony, and most recently, a deeper immersion into heart and womb-centered practices.

At the center of WITHIN are Heart & Womb Ceremonial Sessions, spacious, intentional one-on-one experiences created for women to slow down, soften, reconnect with their bodies, and receive. Sessions may weave together heart and womb connection, gentle supportive care for the feminine body, self-guided practices, breath, movement, meditation, ritual, energy work, and space for whatever is asking to be felt or witnessed.

This work is less about “fixing” the body and more about creating the space to know it, listen to it, and build a deeper relationship with yourself.

Alongside individual ceremonial sessions, Within will continue to grow into offerings for women through feminine movement and embodiment, womb-centered practices, birth and postpartum support, guided self-touch practices, ritual, meditation, and women’s gatherings.

The Temple

A woman’s gathering rooted in nourishment and tending to your feminine body.

The Temple is an intimate space for women to gather in sisterhood, step away from the roles we hold in our everyday lives, and return to ourselves. Together we’ll explore practices of feminine nourishment, movement, heart and womb connection, self-guided womb care, ritual, rest, and intentional connection with one another.

This is the beginning of something I have been dreaming into for a long time, and I’m deeply grateful to begin offering it within our community.

SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE BOOK BEFORE SPACE FILLS UP!

Heart & Womb Ceremonial Sessions are now available. Call the center to get on the waitlist or learn more about these sessions.

The Benefits of Biodynamic Practices: Working in Harmony with Nature

Biodynamic practices invite us to reconnect with the natural rhythms of the Earth and recognize the beautiful relationship between soil, plants, animals, and people. Going beyond traditional organic gardening, biodynamic farming views the garden or farm as a living, interconnected ecosystem where every element plays an important role.

One of the greatest benefits of biodynamic practices is building healthy, living soil. Through composting, cover cropping, crop rotation, and natural soil enrichment, biodynamic methods help improve soil structure, encourage beneficial microorganisms, and support nutrient cycling. Healthy soil creates a stronger foundation for thriving plants and more resilient gardens.

Biodynamic gardening also encourages biodiversity and balance. By welcoming pollinators, beneficial insects, and diverse plant life, we can support a healthier ecosystem and reduce the need for synthetic chemicals. These practices can also help conserve water, improve the soil’s ability to retain moisture, and support long-term environmental sustainability.

Beyond the garden itself, biodynamic practices encourage us to become more mindful observers of nature. Paying attention to seasonal changes, weather patterns, and the natural cycles of growth and rest can deepen our understanding of the land and our connection to it. Many biodynamic practitioners also incorporate lunar and celestial rhythms into their gardening routines as part of their holistic approach.

As the seasons begin to change and fall approaches, this is a wonderful time to prepare gardens and outdoor spaces for winter. Adding compost, protecting soil with mulch or cover crops, and allowing nature to replenish itself can help create healthier growing conditions for spring.

Ultimately, biodynamic practices remind us that a thriving garden begins with caring for the whole ecosystem. When we nurture the soil, honor natural cycles, and work with the land rather than against it, we help create a healthier, more balanced environment for plants, wildlife, and future generations.

Simple Skincare: Taking Care of the Skin You’re In

Our skin does so much for us. It acts as a protective barrier, helps regulate our body temperature, and shields us from many outside irritants. As one of the first things people notice about us, our skin can also influence how we feel about ourselves. Yet, caring for it doesn’t have to mean spending a fortune on products or following a complicated, 10-step routine.

Healthy skin begins with consistency, not complexity.

Why Is a Skincare Routine Important?

Our skin is exposed to the elements every day, including sunlight, wind, pollution, and changes in temperature. Over time, these factors can contribute to dryness, irritation, clogged pores, and premature signs of aging. A simple skincare routine can help support the skin’s natural protective barrier, maintain moisture, and keep it feeling comfortable and healthy.

Just as we nourish our bodies with good food, water, and rest, our skin benefits from a little daily attention. Caring for your skin can also become a small act of self-care—a few quiet moments in the morning and evening to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make your well-being a priority.

You Don’t Need an Expensive Bathroom Cabinet!

With so many skincare products on the market, it’s easy to feel like we need a different cream, serum, or treatment for every concern. The truth is that a few basic products can go a long way.

A simple skincare routine can include three important steps:

  • Cleanse: Use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, sweat, and makeup without leaving your skin feeling tight or stripped.
  • Moisturize: Apply a moisturizer that suits your skin type to help maintain hydration and support your skin’s protective barrier. Even oily skin can benefit from moisturizing.
  • Protect: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day. Sun protection is one of the most important steps you can take to help prevent sun damage and premature skin aging.

That’s it! You can begin with these basics and add other products only if you have a specific need or concern. You don’t have to purchase the most expensive brand, either. Affordable products can be effective, and a higher price tag doesn’t automatically mean better results.

Consistency Over Perfection

One of the biggest secrets to skincare is consistency. Using a few suitable products regularly is generally more helpful than buying a cabinet full of products that you rarely use. Give your routine time to work, introduce new products gradually, and pay attention to how your skin responds.

Remember that everyone's skin is different. What works beautifully for one person may not work for another, and your skin's needs may change with the seasons, age, hormones, and environment. If a product causes persistent irritation, discontinue it. If you have ongoing skin concerns, a dermatologist can help you find the right approach.

And don't forget that healthy-looking skin is supported by more than what we put on it. Staying hydrated, eating a balanced diet, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and avoiding smoking can all contribute to overall skin health.

Make Skincare an Act of Self-Love

Taking care of your skin isn't about chasing perfection or trying to look younger. It's about supporting the body you have and giving yourself the care you deserve. You don't need flawless skin, a shelf full of luxury products, or a complicated routine to make a difference.

Start small. Find a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer you enjoy, and a sunscreen you'll use consistently. Build a routine that fits your lifestyle and your budget, and allow those few minutes each day to become a reminder that you are worth caring for.

Sometimes, the simplest habits are the ones that make the biggest difference. Your skincare routine doesn't need to be complicated to be meaningful—it just needs to work for you!

Healthy skin, simple habits, and a little everyday self-love.

Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony

Integrative Health & Wellness is honored to serve as the host location for this year’s Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony, here in BAKER CITY. 🕯️❤️

If you’re not familiar with this beautiful event, it is a time for parents, grandparents, siblings, and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one, at any age, to come together in remembrance and support.

In connection with The Compassionate Friends, an organization dedicated to supporting families grieving the loss of a child, this worldwide event takes place on the second Sunday of December each year.

On this special day, candles are lit around the globe to honor those who left this world far too soon, creating a wave of light that travels across time zones and reminds us that love never ends.

We are grateful to provide a space for our community to gather, remember, and honor the beautiful lives that continue to shine in our hearts. May their light forever shine. 🕯️✨
